Description

Zoom through the streets on this premium 3-speed bike. Manufactured and assembled in Germany in the 80s.

The Bruno Sweater is worked from the top down in stockinette stitch. It starts with the back. German Short Rows are used to ensure a comfortable fit at the shoulders. Next, the left and right fronts are worked separately. After that, stitches are picked up for the neck to work the front. Once all the parts are completed, they are joined to knit the body in the round. Next, stitches are picked up to work the neckline in a 1x1 twisted rib, which is worked in the round and then folded and attached to the wrong side. Finally, stitches are picked up to work the sleeves in the round.

the designer's vision

Perfect for that rainy Sunday morning in September with your favorite mug of apple-spiced chai.

notes from the designer

This sweater is entirely knit with sport weight cashmere held double. The body of this sweater is worked on 4 mm [US 6] 40, and 80 or 100 cm [16, and 32 or 40 in] circular needles, while you'll need 3.5 mm [US 4] 80 or 100 cm [32 or 40 in] and  3 mm [US 2½] 40, and 80 or 100 cm [16, and 32 or 40 in] for the ribbing. I also recommend having double pointed needles of each size nearby. Notions you will need are stitch marker, extra yarn or stitch holders, and a tapestry needle.
